With a perfect, high-arcing pass floating toward her, Holy Cross outside hitter Riley Parchment felt nervous. Her team was one point away from a sixth straight WCAC championship and Parchment, a sophomore, knew she had an opportunity to put away a Bishop Ireton team that had tested the Tartans for the better part of three tight sets. 

"In my head I just said I can't mess this up," Parchment said. "Whenever I'm hitting I try to see the net and see the blockers and visualize everything, but on that one I had no idea about anything, really."
