WCAC Ice Hockey Championships Take Place TONIGHT (FRIDAY) in Laurel

Girls Championship at 4:00pm will kick off one of three Ice Hockey Championship Games tonight in Laurel.

Tonight, the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference will crown three Champions tonight in Ice Hockey at the Gardens Ice House in Laurel.

 

The Girls Game which will feature top seed St. John's College against St. Mary's Ryken who upset Holy Cross 3-2 on Monday Night.  This game will begin at 4:00pm.

The Metro Conference Game will be top seed Bishop Ireton against Good Counsel.  Bishop Ireton is the defending champion and has beaten Good Counsel twice this season.  This game will begin on the Patrick Rink at 4:30pm.

The Capital Conference Game will be top seed St. John's College against DeMatha Catholic.  St. John's has already defeated DeMatha three times this season.  Both teams coming off of thrilling Semifinal victories.  St. John's beating O'Connell 4-1 and DeMatha using a 5 goal third period to defeat Gonzaga 5-2.  DeMatha has won this tournament every year that is has been held.  This game will be at 7:00pm.
