The WCAC is Home to the No. 1 Boys' and Girls' Ranked Basketball Teams in the Country

Coming off their impressive 57-55 win over Ontario Christian at the HoopHall Classic on Friday, January 16th, the Bishop McNamara girls' basketball team moved into the No. 1 spot on the MaxPreps Top 25 rankings list today for the first time this season.

With that ranking, both current No. 1 ranked teams in the country reside in the WCAC.

Paul VI boys' basketball has held onto the top spot in the rankings for a couple weeks now, showing no signs of letting go. PVI is in familiar territory having won the MaxPreps National Title in 2024.

St. John's also finds a home in the girls' Top 10 moving up from 9 to 7 in this week's rankings.
