Gonzaga will try to win their second consecutive WCAC Championship and St. John's is looking for their second in three years.

Friday featured two quality Semifinal Matchups in Boy's Lacrosse.  The first game was #1 seed, Gonzaga facing off against #4 seed DeMatha Catholic.  Gonzaga got off to a quick start and DeMatha was never able to get going as the Eagles punched their ticket to the Championship Game in their 13-4 victory at Buchanan Field.

The other game, which was #2 seeded St. John's against #3 seeded Paul VI, was supposed to be a close game after their regular season battle which resulted in St. John's winning 11-10.  However, the Cadets were on a mission an they soundly defeated Paul VI by the score of 14-5.

This sets up a rematch of last year's Semifinal Game (Gonzaga won 12-9), and the Championship game of two seasons ago, where St. John's defeated Gonzaga and broke their string of consecutive championships.

The Championship Game is set for Monday night at Ludwig Field on the campus of The University of Maryland at 5:00pm.

There is a $10 admission charge, however you can avoid carrying cash and assure yourself of getting into the game by purchasing tickets on line ahead of time at www.gofan.co (search WCAC) or by clicking HERE.
