Inside DeMatha's gym on Tuesday night, Paul VI guard Anthony Harris fumbled the ball around midcourt, started his dribble again and was called for a questionable double-dribble that sent possession the other way.

"Quit dancing with the ball!" Paul VI Coach Glenn Farello yelled from the bench.

Harris didn't acknowledge him. The gym got quieter.

"Ant!" Farello barked again. "Quit dancing with the ball!"

"I got it, coach," Harris said under his breath, and the next time the junior touched the ball he went coast-to-coast, squeezed his body between two DeMatha defenders and scored in a crowd around the rim. It took him no more than four seconds to burst from inside his own paint to atop DeMatha's, and the layup accounted for two of his 20 points in No. 1 Paul VI's 93-78 road win over the No. 3 Stags. Harris, who was watched by Virginia Tech Coach Buzz Williams and assistant Christian Webster, showed his ability to get to any spot on the floor, flashed his improving jump shot and was tasked with face-guarding DeMatha's Justin Moore (a junior with a handful of high-major offers) at critical points of the game.
