St. John's field hockey Coach Corey Kelly sat her players down in the beginning of October to watch film of their loss at Good Counsel days earlier.

"This," Kelly told her team, "is the scariest Halloween movie you're ever going to see."

Sure enough, the second-seeded Cadets were spooked by their lapses against their Washington Catholic Athletic Conference rival. They vowed not to let the same happen in a potential playoff rematch.
