Last year's Washington Catholic Athletic Conference regular season champions are making a coaching change. St. John's appointed offensive coordinator Pat Ward to take over for retiring head coach Joe Casamento in June.

Ward is a St. John's lifer whose grandfather, uncle, cousins and brother graduated from the Northwest Washington school. He graduated in 1993 after receiving All-Met honors twice as a lineman.
