WCAC Championship Sunday is all set! The Boy's Soccer, Girl's Soccer, and Field Hockey Championships will be decided this Sunday, November 4th at Catholic University in a first time ever...TRIPLE HEADER.
The Boy's will start the day at 1pm with The Heights taking on Paul VI. The Heights, in their first season in the WCAC defeated two time defending Champion Gonzaga in penalty kicks, while Paul VI defeated Good Counsel 2-0.
Following the Boy's Soccer Championship, the Girl's will take the field (at 3pm) where St. John's will play Good Counsel. St. John's beat Bishop O'Connell 5-1 and Good Counsel defeated Bishop McNamara 3-0. Good Counsel and St. John's finished first and second during the regular season.
Then the finale at 6pm will be the Field Hockey Championship which will also feature St. John's and Good Counsel. St. John's, who is undefeated this year, beat Holy Cross 4-1 and Good Counsel defeated Bishop Ireton 1-0.
